Each room is run by a Team Leader who has a recognised level three childcare qualification and who is supported by staff that have a suitable level two or level three qualification.

In total eight of our staff have a level 3 childcare qualification with two people working towards their Foundation Degree in Childcare and one person undertaking the Early Years Professional Status (EYPS). Three people are working towards a level 3 childcare qualification and three are working towards their level 2 childcare qualification. Our policy is to actively facilitate all staff to study for and to achieve, their next level of childcare qualification, and to complete as many relevant courses as they can. Unusually for a private day nursery we give paid time off for staff to study and we pay training course costs.

We also welcome Nursery Nurse students on work experience from local colleges, but only as part of a closely monitored programme that helps them to understand the high standards of care required in a well-run nursery environment.
